Optical Imaging Stabilization Mechanism (World's First*1)

The VC (Vibration Compensation) mechanism*2 absorbs vibrations to greatly to minimize the influence on image quality. The result is consistently clear images when installed on watchtowers and other elevated structures as the effects of wind, vehicle and train induced ground vibrations are eliminated.

World's First Optical Imaging Stabilization Mechanism

Excellent Focus Capability

Focus can be remotely controlled as required. With the entire optical mechanism built inside the lens tube, lens movement is minimal and rapid. When combined with the Spot Auto-Focus feature, adjustments are easy and instantaneous.

Active Athermal

Fluctuation of the optical refraction index resulting from thermal expansion of lens and tube materials is compensated by continuously monitoring the lens system's internal temperature and making active adjustments. This feature ensures stable monitoring by eliminating the effects of wide ambient temperature changes caused by varying weather conditions.

High Sensitivity Detector with Optimal Image Processing

N I C E (Nippon Avionics' Integrated Image Correction and Enhancement)

The original image process algorithm developed for security camera applications optimizes grayscale allocation by analyzing the histogram of each different image. Especially when there is an object with relatively high temperature on the same screen (lamp, reflection from ambient light, etc.), a simple linearization could hide subtle differences, but NICE reveals image texture to give a clearer picture.

  • * Depending on temperature distribution of the target (entire screen) and environment, this feature might not yield improvement.

Color Emphasis

By programming image threshold using the grayscale level, the Target is displayed in a color easily distinguished from the image background. The Alarm signal output can also be triggered with this function.

Privacy Mask

Any predefined zone/ area on the screen can be masked and exempted from surveillance monitoring operation. By blocking off inappropriate or disturbing objects such as stationary heat emitting objects or metals reflecting ambient light, the grayscale depicts finer details and the alarm function can be accurately programmed to prevent false alarms.
