InfRec R300
NEC Avio Infrared Technologies Co., Ltd. (Head office: Tokyo, Japan, President:Masayuki Kawashima, Hereinafter: NEC Avio) today announced release of an infrared thermal imager "InfRec R300" as a brand-new, multipurpose, high-definition & high-performance model of the "InfReC" family, for R&D, predictive & preventive maintenance, quality control and other various applications.
The InfRec R300 is incorporated with Japan-made detector with the latest technology and realizes a top level performance in its class, such as temperature resolution(NETD) of 0.05℃(at 30℃) (*1), accuracy within ±1℃(*2) and spatial resolution (I.F.O.V) of 1.2mrad. Those performances are also complemented by optional high temperature range and various optional lenses (2x telephoto, 0.5x wide-angle, close-up, etc.) to meet different requirements in test and measurement.
Furthermore, R300 comes with 'InfRec Analyzer NS9500PRO for R300', PC software with comprehensive capability needed for real-time recording, detailed data analysis and report creation. It enables you with simple operation to make simultaneous video capturing of thermal/visible images into PC via USB (*3) and composite image display on a real-time basis. R300 employs ergonomics casing design for easy and flexible handling and operation in the field. To name a few, there are 2 independent REC/FRZ keys (most frequently used and important button) situated on top and rear panel, which helps you to hold the camera and capture images in a comfortable position from any angle. R300 also boasts its viewfinder incorporated together with luminous and tilting LCD monitor. Yet, R300 loses its weight by 35% in comparison to NEC Avio's predecessor models to support easier handling for longer operation.
In addition, to satisfy demands frequently requested in the field, R300 features "Panoramic Shooting Function", "Thermal Movie Recording on SD Card in Fully Radiometric Format (10fps)(*5)", 3.1-megapixel visible camera, thermal/visible integrated images in composite/split-screen display, auto focusing, wired remote control unit and so on.
Hence, the InfRec R300 demonstrates its excellent abilities in various measuring scenes such as R&D of electric components or machineries, biological objects, quality control at manufacturing plants, building inspection and checkups/ preventive maintenance of power equipment and electric facilities.
