[InfReC] is the coined abbreviation word of "Infrared Camera" and also has the meaning of [The Device Recording Infrared Information].
Our product research and development is targeted at improving the quality of life by protecting people and simplifying their daily tasks while measuring temperature, controlling environments, enhancing security, etc.
Thermo GEAR G120EX/G100EX Series : Functions
Discontinued Models
Measurement and Display
Thermal and Visible Image Integrated Display
Thermal and visible image can be presented in 3 different modes: Fusion and Picture-in-Picture with alpha blending, plus Split Screen. This function makes it easier to identify target objects, problematic area and points to be investigated further. Adjustment (position, resize, transparency) is easy.
Example
- Thermal Picture (Normal)
- Composite (mixed) Display
- Picture-in-Picture
- Split Screen
Digital Zoom (1-4x continuous): magnifying a part of screen to check details on site (and also save the zoomed image)
- 1x
- 2x Digital Zoom
- 3x Digital Zoom
- 4x Digital Zoom
BOX, Delta between 2 points etc. Useful measurement function available on site
Multiple movable temperature points, multiple user defined BOX, within which max, min and average temperature can be monitored, X-Y axis line profile display, temperature difference (delta) calculation etc. Many measurement function is available for instant and simple analysis in-situ.
Thermal Image Samples displayed on LCD screen
- Multiple points, Max and Delta (M - X)
- Temperature Profile
(X-Y related to "a")
- Max, min & ave.
in user-defined 5 areas
Emissivity Reference Table
Emissivity of some materials predefined can be called up as and chosen as one of ways to enter emissivity for temperature correction.
- Emissivity Table displayed on screen
Emissivity Back-Calculation
When an absolute and precise temperature at a point in the image is known and entered, emissivity of the point can be calculated backward.
- Point Emissivity Correction Menu
A Variety of Shooting Functions
World's First (*1), Panoramic Shooting and Imaging Function (G120EX only) (*2)
Wide angle shot with 4 pictures integrated (*) Visible image above is for reference only and not to be taken by the same camera.
With no optional lens, even wider: 100°(H) or taller 75°(V) picture can be taken without compromising its resolution by simply panning the camera. It is useful for survey to large buildings and civil engineering.
Full Radiometric Thermal Image Movie Shooting (G120EX only)
At variable speed, max: 10fps (or 8.5fps on G120EXD), thermal image movie can be filmed and recorded directly to SD card. (*2)
With no other device hooked up with, continuous shooting is possible to capture any moving objects and sequential events. It is effective to check automated process of machines and production lines.
Alarm Function and Vibration Alarm (Latter: G120EX only)
Alarm function gives an alert with sound and display on screen when the camera finds any anomaly or ominous sign (beyond user-defined temperature). This works well during PPM (preventive predictive maintenance) inspection to prevent surveyor from overlooking and screening process in an entrance corridor of quarantine etc.
Color Alarm and Various Display Mode
With alarm conditions met and event happening, ALM symbol pops up and blinks. Color alarm (Isothermal) function also works independently to show the area beyond or under or in-between user-defined temperature distinctively in a predefined color (selectable, e.g. red).
- Rainbow
- Visible Light Camera
- Color Alarm Display
World's First (*1) Vibration Alarm Function (G120EX only)
Vibration added to ordinary sound and display alarm is helpful when there is hearing difficulty with background noise.
- *1: [Panoramic Thermal Image Shooting and Onboard Processing Function], [Vibration Alarm Function]. The first in the world as applied to portable thermal camera according to an internal survey as of the end of December, 2009.
- *2: [Panoramic Thermal Image Shooting] and [Full Radiometric Movie Function] don't support visible image.
